Single Crystal X-Ray Diffractometry
The Single Crystal X-ray Diffractometry lab is part of the CRC Analytic Core Facility open for all CRC members and offers state-of-the-art diffractometers for the determination of crystal structures.
Trained staff members support you with solving analytical problems and conducting the respective experiments. The available equipment can be used independently for sample analysis after appropiate training and introduction. For this purpose, please approach Dr. Alexander Pöthig. There is also the possibility to submit samples within our measurement service (see below).

- If you think you have measurable samples please fill out a request (request form) and provide it when bringing the crystals.
- We carry out the whole process for you: Measurement, data procession and refinement of the crystal structures. If the structure is publishable, a report of the measurement will be provided as well as the molecular coordinates of the structure (.res-file).
- We store and safeguard the primary data for 10 years according to the Proposals for Safeguarding Good Scientific Practice (DFG). The .cif-file will be finalized and uploaded to the CCDC database prior to submitting the respective manuscript.
